Market pulse has been very reliable. Since Early November, its been down only a few times for a few hours each time. Really frustrating at the time. I send them an e-mail each time to document it. They're going to owe me something at the end of the year like a few days extra service.

I don't think quote.com is appropriate for day traders doing more than several tickets per day. I think quote.com is rumored to be several seconds to 10 seconds behind. Good enough for me, but probably not for the guy scalping lots of eigths.

The charts are not snapshots. The Java appelet it runs in continuously updates as real orders go through and as the bid and ask change. It shows the best bid and best ask and also the next best bid and next best ask. It would be better if it showed a complete Level II for Nasdaq stocks. I normally run it all day long and never have to refresh the screen.

I also have quote.com

Like it a lot

but

recently (for about a week), RT has been very slow sometimes as much as 3 minutes, at opening and closing times of day. Very frustrating.

Also, Sometimes the charts just stop working, maybe they do not have a big enough server.

I reload a different resolution, that often takes care of the problem.

It might be my puter, but I think not, as Datek SI and Mirc work fine.
