There is some oxide potential at Akbastau where the gossan remains untested. There is a strong gold anomaly in the soils over the gossan and a couple of drillholes close by which have some encouraging results. So there could be some oxide tonnes at Akbastau. Akbastau North could possibily alos provide some oxide in teh upper 30 metres- but we need to drill this. There is some remnant ore in the Kosmurun open pit which would go to the Mizek heap leach operation. This would be mined during the mining of Kosmurun and trucke the 30 kilometreson good roads to the north - quite simple. The hep leach focues will be on finding more ore in the immediate vicinity - all directions arouund the planned pit and to the south where we have some encouraging results.

The potential at Akbastau North is to find the high grade massive sulphide portion of the Akbastau deposit to the south - this seems to be all a part of the same VMS system. If we were to find another Kosmurun type massive sulphide deposit close to surface it would be prett exciting. These deposits almost always seem to occur in group and this makes good sense when you understand their process of formation.
