The USA has had a ultra aggressive invasion stance since the 1990's at least.

It was quiet for a while after Vietnam, but I remember Madam Albright quipping this line....

"What's the point of having this superb military you're always talking about if we can't use it?"

and that was the start of some bad times.

"The former US Secretary of State, who once publicly admitted that she thinks the deaths of half a million Iraqi children were ‘worth it’"

Since year 2000 kicked off there has been a long series of aggressive invasions by the USA and NATO countries, often in the teeth of large protests from the civilian population.

All this "putin bad man" talk from you, supposedly all concerned about human rights being abused, sounds hollow considering what has gone on over recent years.

I think the right stance to take is to clean up our own back yard regarding invasions first, before pointing out to Putin how to improve his act. Maybe that would be more effective too instead of pouring hundreds of billions of dollars of taxpayer money at a problem country world famous for its corruption.
