Roger,
What do you think of LHSG? It seems very volatile and very high
P/E. Took a dip last week but back up today.

Shorted @Home today at 27 1/4....I found the H&Q report I had sitting around....I looked into the companies progress vs. what they expected last year....The company is WAY overvalued.....Estimates were .64 in 2001 according to H&Q.....

Roger, what do you think of ML as a short? They reported a loss, but they also reported separately that they "received written, solicited indications of interest to acquire or merge with Metromail at substantial premiums to the current market price."

Seems kind of fishy to me. I took a short position yesterday.

>>>The convertible is already in place and is big and
ugly.<<<

Roger I am confused. Where is this convertible? Can you point me to details about it? There is nothing on EDGAR. All I have seen announced is a shareholder rights program to protect shareholders in case of takeover attempt. The word is that 2 companies are looking to grab CYMI. biz.yahoo.com

Cymer just put in place a 50 million dollar share buyback plan and there is already a 4 million share short position that is being squeezed tightly. The stock just recently popped from 14 1/2 to 22 on all of this news.

I am lost on where the short play is. Any answers?
