Australia is decades ahead of us on getting to zero emissions.

China to follow behind them a couple decades later.

We easily could.

But...

Folks still want to pay more to pollute!

Not me.

Wharfie,
Carbon-free should be around 2050, but will they be utopian? Will any place be?
Europe and Asia are already halfway to said utopia. They are able to live (if not exactly embrace) lifestyles that involve walking and taking mass transit all over the place.

We could do that here in California, IF we were serious about walking the walk instead of just talking the talk.

But nope, we prefer to be virtue signals instead of leaders. And I guarantee you that the rest of the world sees our utter hypocrisy, especially the developing nations like China and India.

They point out correctly how we Americans love to lecture the rest of the world on morality.

And I'm not just talking about traditional Judeo-Christian morality that has now fallen out-of-favor by the elitists, but also about this eco-morality that leads to TIME Magazine crowning its Puppet of the Year.
