LDL was high at my last blood test.
I will have another in May.

I think you mistyped -

LDL is the "bad" cholesterol;

HDL is the good one.

You want a large HDL/LDL ratio.

The higher your LDL the better your arteries will be since it undoeswhat high cholesterol damages
