Stalin was the leader of a totalitarian regime.

Orwell was someone who fought on the part of the communists in the Spanish civil war, then later became a critic of communism. He wrote "Animal Farm" and other books. His books were part of the curriculum for English Literature at High school during the 1970's and his books were popular with many students anyway.

Animal Farm is a kool anti communist book for young teenage students.

I read all of Orwell's books. Much better then the Tee Vee.

If you don't see the totalitarian developments in our recent history, you are one sick puppy.

A tour of Orwell’s Jura, where he wrote 1984 | Scotland holidays | The Guardian

A nice spot in the local countryside. Best have your own boat to visit, as with a lot of places on the West Coast of Scotland.
