Is there no more room to innovate agriculture? No way to better grow food, no way to cultivate more lands that were normally inhospitable to crops? Have we reached the end when it comes to innovations in transportation? We can't come up with better ways to move people and goods from point A to point B with more energy efficiency and lower pollution? Is Moore's Law dead dead dead? AI is going nowhere? No way that AI can help make even white collar jobs more automated and productive? No room for self-driving cars? How about developing the Second and Third World? They consist of six billion people. This Marxist thinks that we can't continue to grow our modern economies so that more and more of humanity can enjoy First World luxuries? And we can't possibly do it in a sustainable manner? My God, these people, they call themselves "progressives" but they are completely against human progress. If they want to become monks and live ascetically, they can do so on their own volition.
