Re: Young Folk Portfolio .... I made a very bold move today in this portfolio. I sold $10K worth of SPY, which was showing double digit gains and I took out a new position in SSO. SSO seeks to track 2x the daily performance of the S&P 500 Index. Since the objective of this portfolio is to beat the S&P 500 Index, I think having a position that tracks the S&P 500 by 2x might help ensure outperformance. I'm not going to go crazy with SSO. SPY is still the largest position in the portfolio at $44K and change, while SSO is at $10K.
