It would have been fine to just say that TAVA failed their screen based on the financials. And it would be fine to say that they don't think TAVA would "take the world by storm." Anyone can have an opinion.

But to surperficially dismiss the CD-ROM as if it were an expensive "Greatest Hits of the Monkees" with the wrong pricing and an obvious lack of understanding of the total Y2K service package of which the CD-ROM is only a small physical part, is really very careless and unprofessional.

One of the reasons I don't use CNBC, Briefing.Com or other "financial journalists" as a guide to investing is just such lack of care in crafting reports.

The value is in the details. And their details are wrong.

failure to show four quarters of rising revenue and on current profitability. Looking and making judgements on the PAST, has always been the analyst problem That is why this guy will be buying TAVA at $20 when the earnings are clearly visable.

Let's see...$25 million for CD sales of which $24 million is pure profit. Gee only $1 per share for TAVA. On a $9 1/2 stock--I'll take it. Now you know why this guy writes for briefing.com. What a visionary!

To all: Briefing com article is typical. They HATE y2k companies and will use any opportunity to misrepresent the facts etc. I was in contact with their editors many times months ago. Once I realized they will never say anything positive about the industry I gave up on them. Where in the devil did they come up with the $2,500 per cd-rom?? jdn

Double D--I think there is a mistake in the 2500 price for the CD-Rom. I attended the SHM and was given a demonstration of the CD. I asked "how much does it cost to purchase the CD after the 90 day free trial period-this has been extended from 60 days by Tava-the answer was " it costs 4000 for the initial program and can go up from there depending on the needs of the client." Where did you get the 2500 figure? Jan
