OH NO.. This (new orders6) is EXACTLY what users said they didn't want! Seems to me that Datek just hired some wet-behind-the-ears HTML/Java programmer who gets off on good looking pages and has yet to figure out that use-ability is more important than looks in a business related web-site. Leave the fancy stuff for the porn sites where that stuff probably counts! Dreyfus's pages are looking better and better all the time...not because of fancy graphics (there are none) but because of its functional simplicity, and they do options at $15 for up to 10 contracts! A friend of mine says that there performance rivals DATEK on stock trades ($15) and is darn good on option trades. Also I've sent them two preliminary e-mails and received very complete answers within a few hours! Datek.. this time I would listen.. there's a lot of competition out there and your asking to become a niche player again rather than being attractive to a broad based customer group.
