I assume you are talking 1 contract when you mentioned $2000. That's a higher level than I was aiming for with my recent shorter term covered call sales.

I like the idea of focusing upon the total price as a sale amount. What I haven't figured out very well yet is the setting of a strike price beyond short term volitility. Using reversion to the mean seems most sensible here as well as focusing upon a fixed std deviation for the determination of a time frame.

This all live and learn for me and my actions todate have not been especially productive, nor noteworthy.

As to QTL, I'm most pleased that we have moved on from process within that arena even as it becomes less of a business factor. EPS is a lumpy game and has rarely met my expectations of steady fwd progression.

Cashflow has always had my attention especially that which is truly being returned to shareholders and invested back into the business. The later is most difficult to digest but seems most relevant. fwiw
