It does cause a stir when the Investor Relations component of an public corporation feeds inaccurate information to individuals who then pass that information on as fact. We can go down the list of events which turned out to be deliberately misleading if not completely false and that's something which investors should be very concerned about. If you feel that you have been taken advantage of I strongly suggest you (and anybody else with concerns) fill out the simple report at the website which follows and somebody will get back to you. Being coy about the source of these serious rumors only paints you as the bad guy and if you are actually being victimized yourself, you should welcome the opportunity to explain who fed you these stories and in what capacity they were acting. Whether you realize it or not, it's a serious matter to have IR departments funnelling information through independent investors in the hope of washing their hands of any responsibility. milberg.com
