Celeryroot, All initial trades on LGND (first 4300 shares) are buys at the full ask price of 14 3/4. I guess it was those big block "BUYERS" (since the tape is heading north) of LGNDW that was discussed yesterday or the 20K "BUY" at yesterday's closing bid price of 14 1/2.

Volume is already 73,000 and LGND has already hit 15 1/4. Looks like more of that "narrow trading range" ($11 to $16) that LGND has been in for the past few days waiting for the "news".
