Joe, <<the bottom line is that Syquest, has, once again, screwed their customer base.>> Another bottom line is that if a single high density platter is cheaper to manufacture, someone is going to do it. If Syquest doesn't take the lead and "screw their customer base," someone else will come along and screw both Syquest and their customer base. However, please articulate how Syquest's action was unfair to their customer base. Can the buyers of the Syjet no longer buy media at the price they expected to when they purchased their drive? Where's the rub? David
