Bruce - PrimeCo and Sprint use the 1900 MHz phone - these are the PCS providers. They use the 1900MHz only phone because they don't have any analog in their system. The cellular companies are at 800MHz and they will use this new phone because they have overlayed CDMA on top of analog systems. For these companies, one can use CDMA wherever they have CDMA but where their coverage is spotty the phone will switch to analog. Also, when you go out of their territory you can roam using analog on other provider systems. You can't roam on analog with PCS at 1900MHz but they should get agreements to allow Sprint users to roam on PrimeCo PCS and vice versa with CDMA digital. I'm not sure how successful these agreements are to date though. Tom
