They are just locked into their point of view and are uncritically minded. They insult when their point of view is challenged and they feel threatened. They never question their views. This applies to the conservatives also. So, they spend all day insulting and spewing hate towards one another rather than having a constructive, insult free dialogue. It is pretty sad. But what you see on this thread is basically what goes on in most of US society. Geez, it has even gone on in the floor of the Senate. We have had Senators who have challenged the other side to a fight. It really is pretty pathetic.. As for myself, I'm pretty numb to it since it has become a fairly common everyday occurrence. Even our Presidents do it.

What concerns me, if Trump gets elected, is that this hateful, insulting mode of talk will be raised to a much higher level, increasing hostilities and venom all around. Trump has taken very big hits from the Left since he left office and more is coming. I think he is going to respond, if elected, in the most venomous way imagineable to get back at his adversaries. I think we are going to experience real chaos inside the USA.
