No it doesn't. Jesus himself makes it clear exactly who are the adulterers, the non-believers, the sexually amoral, the blasphemers, etc.

They are us.

For example, you mentioned adultery as a sin punishable by death. But Jesus points out exactly who the adulterers truly are:

"You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." - Matthew 5:27-29 (NIV)

Bottom line: There is no contradiction. Jesus makes it perfectly clear who the sinners are, and why we all need to be saved.
