Inflation coming down is a stat. Prices are still going up -- which is reality.

The DNC can choose another candidate during the convention if they can persuade the electors to switch candidates. They would probably embrace Michelle Obama. But she has claimed that she does not want the job. Gavin Newsome is a very popular, controversial figure. Anyone who has lived in CA for any period of time knows that prices have gone through the roof.. CA is a very beautiful State, scenically speaking, in terms of their forests, mountains, beaches and deserts. But people have been leaving CA by the droves on account of the outrageous rise in the cost of living. Nevada is now made up of 40% Californians. Arizona has a very heavy Californian population, as well as Texas. Newsome is a very good speaker, a great con man.
