No, not neccessarily. Just meant someone was willing to buy 8000 shares at that price.

Not necessarily. It only means the highest bid price is for a block of 8000 shares, while the lowest bid asked is for a block of 1000 shares.

What you have to look at is total "supply" on each side and at each price, and most of us don't have access to that data.

I suspect a lot of people will take profits today.
