I have a question about Shorting: I have never actually placed a short, but I am trying to learn how to execute a trade of this type properly. I understand that when you short a stock that you 'sell' X shares that you don't actually own. With Datek, you simply click 'Sell' X shares of XYZ. My question however, is how do you cover this Short? Do you 'buy' back X shares of XYZ? I would think that you don't 'sell' the shares again. Could someone please enlighten me on how to do this correctly? Many thanks, Rob Cavaleri
