It's not what you spend but what you get in return. A great deal of research money has been poured down the drain by bigger and smarter people. I know that CIEN is spending on research. However, THEY said they have no new products at this time. Neither their customers nor their competitors have heard of any"NEW and Competitive products "forthcoming from CIEN.

As they say , show me the money hothead.
