Well John, I'm long in two stock's SGI and aplx.
I'm an n-gin-eer and I use applixware and I work with all
sgi's stuff. But to applix, I am familiar with aplix only
because I use linux almost exclusively on intel boxes.
Radhat is the most used linux and they sell applixware for
linux. They also have a low cost special for students.

I have two in engineering colleges and in talking with them
each reports that linux is quite popular. applixware is
the ms office of linux. I believe that this represents
applixware being exposed to college student's who take
their knowledge with them to whatever company.

Short term this stock may be flat. But longer term I see a
buyout and continuing increased earning.

ps I looked at your previous posts and at www.rampnet.com
you can download a software package that link's modems.

I'm going to call to see if it's available for linux but
I've little hope. But if you do borgware then it may be suitable
for you.

Tom W.
