There is more to the daughtercard than just the ZiVA chip, but I'm not sure what the cost of those other components would be. I took the Zoran release as saying the total cost of components required to manufacture the daughterboard is less than $30, including the memory chips. Anyone have a more exact feature of what the bill of materials would be for C-Cube daughtercard including memory?

There probably will be plenty of business for both Cube and Zoran. The question is whether or not they will get involved in a price war.
