Thursday February 19, 8:07 am Eastern Time

>>> PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 19, 1998--ConSyGen, Inc. (OTCBB:CSGI - news) today announced the appointment of three new vice presidents, including Raj Kapur, vice president and chief financial officer, Jim Vittera, vice president and director of North American Sales and Marketing, and Steve Kelly, vice president, General Counsel and Corporate Administration.

Jeff Richards, who previously held the position of vice president and director of North American Sales and Marketing, has been appointed vice president and director of International Sales and Marketing.

Kapur has previously been employed at Dynaco, California Micro Devices, and Honeywell. He has a BS Degree in accounting from Arizona State University as well as a Masters Degree from Arizona State University. He is a certified CPA and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of CPA's. Kapur has experience with SEC rules and regulations and reporting requirements.

Vittera joins ConSyGen after serving 25 years in various engineering, sales and marketing positions with Motorola. He has a BSEE Degree from the University of Nebraska and a Masters Degree from Arizona State University.

Kelly joins the company from Motorola, and has previously served as corporate counsel at Datapoint and Fujitsu. He graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a BA degree in Political Science and he received his law degree from Drake University.

Jim Vales, vice president of operations, remains in this position.

Ron Bishop, ConSyGen's president and CEO, stated, ''I am very excited to have such high quality and proven professionals join our staff. With the impending emergence of the international market, it was extremely critical that we address this market immediately. The potential in the international marketplace is huge. The recent announcement that we completed the year 2000 project for Telenor (Norway) in just two weeks (at their request) is an indication of what we must be prepared for. With the addition of Steve Kelly, we will now have in house legal support, which we have not previously had. Jim Vittera's vast sales and marketing experience at Motorola will be a great asset to us. I couldn't be happier to have these three gentlemen join the ConSyGen team.'' <<<

Mr. Bishop talks about the "the impending emergence of the international market".....

I would keep a close eye on what is going to come through Chase and Millenium of Singapore.

Also note the various companies mentioned in the release, especially the two new ex-Motorola appointments.

I wonder if any of the other companies have a year 2000 problem, and if so, how are they addressing it ? We already know Motorola was very impressed with the pilot CSGI did for them. (Motorola has approx. 100 million lines of code, nationwide, that needs to be made year 2000 compliant)

stay tuned.
