Thanks, Gene. Goes to show you the world is truly about balance. MIQ going up means more profits but no Sweatshirt. The reason for the recent rise is simple, the market is expecting a press release announcing the formalization of the $17,000,000 Kinross deal. You can find plenty of info at the MIQ thread here at SI but a summary is that Kinross has paid this money to J.V. MIQ's property in the Carlin Trend, the most prolific gold mining area in North America and #2 in the world.

MIQ had great results, which lead to Kinross signing confidentiality agreements and touring the property on November 5, 1997. If nothing else, the truly amazing fact is that Kinross commenced their due diligence package on November 5 and by November 24, they had made MIQ this significant offer. In an environment where juniors are being picked off by vultures for a song, this is pretty significant.

We will have more details when the press release is actually made. Obviously, we can not comment on when this will occur.
