You do realize TX produces a massive amount of natural gas ... even exports it abroad Yep, It's finite and polluting. But cost of generation from it is doomed today because renewables are cheaper. You need to read this in detail. I guess you have never used renewables and seen their massive cost declines over just the last few years. Fossil fuels can't compete anymore on cost and that's been true for a number of years now.
