Dear Hutch, Thank you for your question regarding VRS. There has been no material change with regard to VRS in the past weeks. The recent decline in the share price is due to not only the continued disinterest in junior mining exploration companies, but also it is worth noting that VRS is in a relatively quiet period where there is little field activity on going. The Company recently closed an equity deal with Teck Corporation whereby Teck invested C$4.1 million well above market. Ventures has an aggressive and well planned program geared for 1998 which is expected to commence this spring. The Company has recently issued a shareholder newsletter outlining its accomplishments in 1997 and its plans for 1998.
