At the conference in November, Mr. Schwartz said he absolutely would love to have some of the assets of ComSat, but not the regulatory headaches that come with them. With the privatizing of some of Intelsats assets, he may now be more inclined to acquire them. A very bold move! It would certainly increase the presence of Loral in the world market quite quickly.

I know little of CQ, so forgive my stupid question. Why buy losses and regulatory headaches?
