Rosemary,

****OFF TOPIC*****
For quite some time now, I have been interested in buying Lucent. But one of the reasons I did not was because of the p/e number which is now 130. Yet, it continues to soar. Yes of course it is up 4 today already because of the announced split, but why does wall street say o.k. to this pe when you hear people scream how high the pe is on say Dell? What am I missing.... besides the opportunity to buy LU when it was at around $70???

Michael Dell will be on CNBC's Tech 98 tomorrow.

3 and thread: M.Dell to appear on CNBC Tech 98 tomorrow according to Bruce Francis, he also said analysts have consistently underestimated Dell's earnings last 4 quarters or so. He continued, 'biz' in the Americas, and Europe kicking ass, with little or no impact from Asia. As we all speculated before the lower component cost from Asia should benefit Dell if anything. After the market-close and after earnings are announced Bruce will be back on CNBC to discuss the earnings report. Thought I just pass this info, if anybody is interested.

Cheers.
