Dear Taz Man

At current rates of exchange, you may calculate as follows:

US dollars X 1.45 = Canadian Dollars

or

Canadian Dollars X 0.69 = US Dollars

In other words, a US dollar is worth Canadian $ 1.45 or, if you look at it the other way, a Canadian dollar is worth US $ 0.69.
