*** OFF TOPIC

Leo -

Although I don't know much about LEIX (actually nothing), I have been following GPS for a while now, and have seen the way that Trimble Navigation (TRMB) dominates that sector with superior products. I would be leary of betting against them - other companies have failed in this arena - Magellian (sp?) comes to mind. Motorola has a tough time going against them. I believe that Nokia has a contract with them to marry cell phones with GPS capabilities, although I could be completely wrong here.

Trimble owns a vast array of patents on GPS technology, which makes getting into this field difficuilt. Plus, they have been trying very hard to leverage their GPS technology into other areas - like in-car navigation. They do have several large partnerships to this end. Plus, there has been some consolidation in the GPS sector lately, and it wouldn't suprise me it there was some more coming.

Even with all this said, it may be a good short term play, but I would be very careful about going long on this.

Just my 2 cents...

Sincerely,

Hans Hohenner

PS... just to get my bias out in the open, I do have a long position in TRMB.

Leo, I'm watching TRMB, same business. When the gulf war got hot
this stock took off like a scalded dog. Do some homework and let me know what you think on both stocks.
