Here's a few interesting statistics to compare YHOO to AOL, from AOL's conference call last week:

<<Over the year, Web hits climbed from 173 million to 721 million daily. There are now more than 200 million Instant Messages sent every day, compared to 160 million just a month ago. And E-mail messages sent daily have nearly quadrupled, from seven million a year ago to this month's 27 million>>

I'm not sure whether to read the 721 million web hits as total page views on AOL or page views on the web (the number would be about 65 web page views a day, which seems quite high). One thing to remember, is that the average AOL user spends about 17% of their time online on the web, and the rest in chat, mail, and AOL content.

Someone want to tell me again that YHOO is going to quickly surpass AOL in advertising revenue based on the 67 million page views YHOO gets a day?
