I saw Dickey and Great Southern at an outdoor concert at a winery circa 1980. We were able to walk right up to the stage as most folks were sitting around on blankets. He played all the Allman Brothers standards. Probably my greatest concert experience ever.

Dickey was a great in his time and I recall seeing him with ABB many times.

Never had the chance to see them live.. :-(
