You must be talking about little donny, he was ecstatic when putin invaded. And he stupidly showed that enthusiasm in public. What you just described is the exact opposite of what happened. Why is that? Are you mental?

Trump calls Putin ‘genius’ and ‘savvy’ for Ukraine invasion

The former president’s praise for Putin comes at a perilous geopolitical moment in Europe.

............
“I went in yesterday and there was a television screen, and I said, ‘This is genius.’ Putin declares a big portion of the Ukraine — of Ukraine — Putin declares it as independent. Oh, that’s wonderful,” Trump said in a radio interview with “The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show.” “He used the word ‘independent’ and ‘we’re gonna go out and we’re gonna go in and we’re gonna help keep peace.’ You gotta say that’s pretty savvy.”

He stupidly gave approval to Russia for a "small" incursion.

And here all along I thought one had to fire the first shot to start a war. And to fire at least some shots, if not the first, to even be in a war. Silly me.

There is a reason Putin didn't make this move when Trump was president.

According to you, apparently all you have to be is be president when two other countries go to war to be blamed for starting the war. Tough critic.
