<< Marty Zwieg has said many times over the years, "Don't fight the tape!" >>

So it wasn't a good idea to short A$ND at 80 when the tape looked good? COMS at 80? How about when Cisco dropped from 75 to 46 (pre-split). Didn't the tape look good when it was at 75?

I understand the point you are trying to make, but there are no hard and fast rules to my trading. I suppose the tape looked good when the Dow was at 8259, on it's way down to 7000.

If you shouldn't fight the tape, then shouldn't you have been selling everything when the Dow was crumbling to 7000? The tape was hurtling downward wasn't it?
