Ha; I just noticed the downgrade by GS

It's actually a different company from the past. I have done well with LEVI & KTB both +50% or more from my Buys in 9/2023. What attracted me toward them was their DTC (Direct To Market) selling platform. Their DTC is new and building revenues (w/ better margins).

The AI (Perplexity.com) pointed this out:

  1. Investments in direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels: VF Corporation has been actively investing in and growing its DTC business, which now accounts for 21% of total revenues and is expected to reach 25% by 2017. 4 This DTC focus has helped the company better connect with consumers and gain market share.
VFC has an established DTC channel. I noticed that 8 years out of 9 they have been FCF positive too.

And now, afaik, VFC does not sell lingerie.

Right you are, though I'm not sure I'm thrilled with the current businesses. Seems like they're mostly past their primes.
