The medical community felt this was needed to save lives and prevent the spread.

This virus killed thousands and left thousands more injured for life.

It was a serious as a heart attack and no one was sure if we could control it, or how easily it spread, or how serious it would be.

Except fools who think vaccines are a bad idea and so spread it when they get it.
