But lawfare is the heart of everything the Democrats are doing related to the presidential campaign. You don't know that. Whenever someone does something that is both in his best interests and the right thing to do, it's impossible to tease out the ratio of one motivation vs the other. The party performing the act probably doesn't even fully know so how can you? Imputing motive is a briar patch to be avoided.
