I didn't know "verbiage" and "garbage" are synonyms...hehe.. Okay I'll stop. Enough Recon bashing. ;-)

Can you give us any indication of how you think QT might play into Apple's next couple quarters? Sounds like the company's expecting bigger things than ever from that product and putting its money where its mouth is.

QuickTime (and even MacOS) in itself doesn't have a significant impact on Apple's revenue, but they do help sell hardwares which is where Apple makes its living off of. The success of QuickTime and its adoption by ISO has forged it into a handy weapon for Apple. It serves two roles:
1) QT will help Apple retain the high-end multimedia content creation market.
2) QT's cross platform acceptance will become a marketing point. and Apple may use it to spearhead a push into the PC market and increase awareness of Apple/Mac technology among PC users.
