OT one more reason not to buy CITI- booking tickets through american airlines. I see a pop up offering $400 off if i apply for some citi platinum american arilines card. I do , gets approved , no immediate rebate. i call amercan airlines to find out why no rebate. they say it will be applied later as statement credit. I get email says i got approved as of today with last 4 digits of credit card number, says credit card will in mail 7 -10 business days, On the phone with 5 different people over 25 minutes. no one can give me or send me credit card number so I can use it to pay for my ticket. Just ridiculous. I have an approved card as of today but I cant use it.

I will look at Deere but right now I am enamored of a Japanese company that seems cheap absolutely and relatively, so cheap that it usually comes with warts but I cant find any. Perhaps that is just the way it is with a lot of japanese stocks.
