Wharfie, It is not about the combination of faith and climate but about the link between Thunberg's climate activism and science. *As faculty, we agree with the fundamental goals she propagates*. That's a real weak basis for awarding her with an honorary degree in theology. They don't mention any concept of theology or philosophy that justifies the award. All they say is that they agree with her goals. This is nothing more than virtue-signaling, to be on the "right side of history." Which, ironically, is based on a philosophy that I have railed against my entire life, which is postmodernism. Tenchusatsu
