The problem for the "peaceful" Palestinians is Gaza is where Hamas is. There were Germans in Germany who were not Nazis, but Germany is where the Nazis were. Remember Dresden Germany. We turned a beautiful city filled with women and children into ruble. Israel has been more careful about killing noncombatants than we or anyone else was in World War II. War is hell. It is horrible. It is tragic beyond imagination. It is what it is and, whenever possible, it should be avoided. The horrifying, yet inescapable, truth of human existence is that there inevitably comes a time when men decide there is something worth dying for and something worth killing for. There is a constant struggle occurring within humanity between good and evil. I believe good will have the final victory. Till then there will be bloodshed.
