Regarding that prosecutor who audaciously taunted the police officer who stopped her for speeding, telling him, “Fine, give me a ticket. I’ll be in charge of prosecuting myself” It made me think that’s pretty much what’s happening every time someone inside DOJ, CIA, or FBI gets caught committing an alleged wrong. They’re in charge of prosecuting themselves… and so they don’t. This woman just said the quiet part out loud and didn’t even seem ashamed by it. Feels a lot like communist countries where the officials lord over the populous rather than serving it. Different rules for them.
