Yep, CR is unbiased. After all they are a non-profit organization that started up in the 1930's for the benefit of their members. Our Mission Consumer Reports is an independent, nonprofit member organization that works side by side with consumers for truth, transparency, and fairness in the marketplace. consumerreports.org I've subscribed to the magazine since my mother got me a gift subscription in 1971. And paid for my own sub every year since 1973. Virtually all the people who slam the organization have never been a member or even looked at the magazine. Saved me a lot of $$ over the years.
