Sour grapes from one of the people who have made prior misstatements on this thread in connection with trader tax status.

Our clients' fees are always a small fraction of proven tax savings we deliver. The choice for some is go it alone (and maybe botch your tax file or miss out on significant benefits) or consult with a proven expert.

I am not looking for business. Rather, I am a day trader like others on this thread and as a CPA with knowledge and experience in this area, I feel the same itch others do to correct misstatements and educate others message board users.

I just caution people with required disclaimers that tax advice should only be given by a tax professional and directly to a paying tax client.

Good luck to all you bona-fide traders.
