David, PMFJI..but do you see those Korean fabs getting the capital for the conversions?.. That's a lot of equpment changeout... and I'm holding some equipment companies that have had the chit kicked out of them because "there aren't going to be Korean sales".. Hey, SOMEBODY is wrong!! (Couldn't be Kurlak...he downgraded MU at 18 just in time to catch the run to the high 30's) <g> IMHO, those Korean fabs are no competition for anybody in the near to mid-term...and after that, the cost of capital is going to keep their competitive expenditures modest for a LONG time... And I expect my capital equipment suppliers are going to be supplying that equipment to somebody else.... IMHO, final demand for chips will insure that SOMEBODY makes the darned things..and that will take equipment (I think)... Your thoughts?? TSO
