Keeping my fingers crossed that you are correct. That smoke was disgusting down here! Never saw anything like it. Lasted on and off for days!

Very relieved to see that map. The last month has brought even cool and wet weather to temporarily dampen the fire risk in many areas.

Alas, snow packs remain very low in many parts of BC, and there are still severe drought conditions in parts of central and NE BC. And we are forecast to break some high temperature records across southern BC this weekend so the reds and oranges could spread rapidly if we are not lucky.
