The point is that ONCO is moving to a digital delivery system to provide more product to its hotel customers. According to their conference call this afternoon, they are testing the digital system now with good results, and obviously expect to find it attractive from a financial point of view. They also made the point that using standard architecture would allow them to take advantage of lower prices for hardware in the future. The KEY here is: vod has arrived precisely because people like ccur can provide reliably provide video streams in a cost effective manner in an open architecture that someone like onco can layer additional product offerings (like internet access, etc.) on top of. Whether Corky was early in his enthusiasm is a moot point now. You cannot say he did not deliver in the masterful combination of the two realtime businesses into one capable of earning profits and supporting itself on a cash flow basis. Your emtional hostility to Corky is a good sign of the negative sentiment that has developed here. See you higher.
