There is a process for being a partisan observer --

Republican observers are needed when you have a room full of Democrats counting the votes. I am troubled by the fact no provision is made for close inspection of the process, at least by video i real time.

OTOH, you obviously cannot have an unlimited number of official observers. But voting and counting are processes where anyone who wants to look on ought to have that opportunity at a time when video is everywhere.

This is but one of many examples. For example, Republicans observers were turned away from Philly Zuckerberg storefronts, even when credentialed as a Republican observer. And in fact, those places were considered as "remote" polling locations and somehow, it was deemed appropriate to exclude Republicans altogether while Democrats manning the stores were "helping" people fill out their ballots.
